How the concept works
- Aerosol units are mounted inside each cabinet and in defined positions within the server room.
- When the trigger temperature is reached, Aerosol is released into the protected volume and interrupts the combustion process.
- ABC product and ABC fire balls can be placed in room corners and specific hotspots to protect open areas.
- The result is clean suppression with no sprinkler water flowing over racks, servers and cables.

Can Aerosol replace sprinklers in the server room?
In many projects Aerosol systems are used as an alternative to classic water sprinklers in server rooms, because they do not soak racks and electronics. When designed correctly and in line with local regulations, Aerosol units inside cabinets and additional room modules can provide the main fire-protection concept.
Do Aerosol units damage servers or data?
Aerosol avoids water damage and is engineered to minimise impact on electronics compared with sprinkler discharge or many conventional extinguishers. Cleaning is significantly easier than after a water event.
Why add ABC product and ABC fire balls?
Aerosol protects the inside of cabinets and defined room volumes. ABC product and ABC fire balls cover corners, cable routes or underfloor voids where a handheld extinguisher would be hard to use quickly.
Can the system be retrofitted in an existing server room?
Yes. Racks can be equipped step-by-step with Aerosol modules, and room units, ABC product and fire balls can be added during planned maintenance windows.
